Reasons Why Computer is Not Giving Correct Time? [quick fix]

If you are a computer dependent person like me, then wrong time/date can lead you to a pathetic situation. In this article i have tried to jolt down possible causes and how fix them. Now the question arises why windows computer display wrong time/date.

Possible Causes and Ways to Fix Them

        CMOS Battery

Alternatively referred to as a Real-Time Clock (RTC), Non-Volatile RAM (NVRAM) or CMOS RAM, CMOS is short for Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor. CMOS is an on-board, battery powered semiconductor chip inside computers that stores information. This information ranges from the system time and date to system hardware settings for your computer.  The standard lifetime of a CMOS battery is around 10 Years. However, this can vary depending on the use and environment in which the computer resides.

If the battery fails, the system settings, date, and time will not be saved when the computer is turned off until it has been replaced.

Incorrect Time Zone
incorrect time zone can can be set correctly by Right-clicking the system clock in your taskbar and select > Adjust date/time > Change time zone

Virus/Malware
There is nothing to do much, except Checking your Computer with Antivirus Program and update your windows. 

Quick Fixes

Synchronize Your Time To A Time Server

You can adjust your time/date with widows time server.
Right-clicking the system clock in your taskbar and select > Adjust date/time > Internet time

Use internet Browser
Now this option is just for seeing what is the actual/current time. With this you cannot alter windows time/date. But this can remind you about current date, each time you  open your internet Brower Search Google for your place's current time, like one in the picture below, and copy the url from the address bar and set it as home page of your browser.
