The new HDX tablet is the third generation of the Kindle Fire brand, and With the decline of desktop sales, Tablet market is raising fast. Though Ipad 4 still sits on the top of the hierarchy of tablet market, Amazon Kindle fire probably going to raise itself to the top tier tablets, featuring android OS. (The new version of the Kindle Fire OS dubbed Mojito is based on Android Jelly Bean)
The Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is remarkably light for a large-screen tablet, weighing only 382 grams
With a quad-core 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM its going to be a one of the powerful tablets in the market. Amazon raised the resolution of its tablet from 1,920 x 1,200 pixels to 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. That raises the pixel density to striking 339 pixels per inch!
Amazon had introduced a Mayday Button in hdx 8.9, to enable you to chat with a real live Amazon expert who can help you solve your tablet issues. It also offer dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 4G LTE connectivity.
Its like a multimedia power house in one case. Amazon says you can get up to 11 hours of battery life in mixed use and up to 17 hours for reading in between charges.
