Downloading a YouTube video is not a problem any more, you need to google it and you will find it right. But often than not some methods are pretty old and useless.
What you see below is the tried and tested methods, yep i got these from google :-

TubeMate YouTube Downloader is an app for downloading YouTube videos directly to your mobile phone. It allows you to have your favorite videos on your device’s SD card to watch them whenever you want. I didn't find it Google play store, but yes it available on other places(link given!).

Here first you have to goto address bar, where the url of the youtube video is written. Works smoothly in Mozilla.
for example here:
 replace "youtube" with "voobys" like this:
before hitting  Enter, change https:// to http://  then you will be taken to their site,  you need to run java(TM) when prompted.
